8.5"x11" Full-color trade advertisement created
for Ambassador-Emerald
Publishing.
The client had already commissioned us to do a 20-page
full-color catalog when the opportunity came to create an ad for an industry
magazine. Using the existing scans from a marathon 3-day scanning session,
this ad was created quickly almost entirely in PhotoShop.
The background element came from a clip art photo of a sunrise in the forest.
The photo was reworked with some filters to give it a painterly, oil on
canvas look. The logo was imported in and the color scheme used for the
color bar and ellipse at the bottom.
