Logo, Brochure, and Booklet Layout for New York Gospel
Ministries
Started a full year before 9/11/01,
this Gospel outreach is targeting the myriad citizens of the megapolis of
New York City.
We were allowed free reign to design the logo for the
mission which we then used in printing letterhead, a full color brochure,
and then a Gospel booklet (as a PDF and a physical
tract). The client was unusually patient with the process and constantly
considerate of our time and efforts. He wanted something cosmopolitan, center
of culture, and not ashamed of the term Gospel.
There were several different treatments, shown below,
that tried to get both a feeling for the city and the mission of the Word
of God. In the end, the client went with a large "Gospel" in Pantone #676. After bringing the FreeHand file into PhotoShop,
the color was shifted to a Rhodamine Red.
