MorningSide Baptist
Church of Greenville, South Carolina started a
Race Fans Banquet to bring in Christian drivers and staff for an evening
of fellowship. Since one of the pressmen at Dye was the coordinator the
first year (the sample above is from the third year), and the owner Dye
Printing is a deacon at Morningside, guess who got to design all the materials?
The font Serpentine has been used for all the years, and just works great
for "masculine" and "speed" and "racing."
We knew going in we'd be allowed black and one other color. Red was the
natural choice.
The booklet above is printed on legal-sized paper and
folded to 8.5"x7". Besides the 12 page program, we also printed
letterhead and envelopes, a hand-out/mailer, and created some signs and
even a door prize sign up card. Each emblazened with the logo. It was not
only a fun project, but the work was appreciated!
